Buenas noches mi problema creo que es mas sencillo de lo que pienso...

ya configure el samba mediante el swat (mandrake 10) y logro ver los archivos compartidos de los distintintos computadores de mi red pero cuando me voy a los computadores de GUIN2 no puedo ver nada...

Les adelanto que tengo DHCP gracias a un router D-Link que me asigna las ip no se que tanto tenga eso que ver...

no se si sera que no tenga el servicio de samba-client instalado (como puedo verificar eso??) pero creo que si lo tengo cargado.

Que el linux vea a windows es un samba client, y al revs un samba server, dos "servicos" diferentes. Asegurate de tener el servidor samba arrancado, y despus, si no lo ves, obliga a los windows a buscarlo por la red...
